Company History
Lakeshore's founding owners, Drs. Brian Teunissen and Jacob Odders, met for the first time at a wedding. They got to talking about the practices where they worked and the ideas they had for a different kind of referral hospital. Their vision rested on the foundation of excellent communication with clients, referring veterinarians, and the internal team. They wanted to build a practice that allowed team members to have a voice that was heard and opportunity for empowerment in their areas. And so the story of Lakeshore began.
Founded in 2007 in Port Washington and Racine, Wisconsin, Lakeshore expanded services and locations in 2012 in Glendale and 2013 in Oak Creek, Wisconsin. Our three state of the art hospitals continue to expand in 2015 into 2016, to include a high field MRI, stereotactic radiosurgery, and a 9,000 square foot addition to our hospital in Glendale.
